Henry Sims II

Henry Sims, raised in Louisiana and a graduate of Southern University with a Bachelor in Therapeutic Recreation and where he started his coaching career.  He moved to Houston, Texas in 2000 where he continued his passion in working with student - athletes to keep them motivated about their skills on and off the court.  In 2003, Henry began working with Houston Elite Grassroots basketball program .  In addition to working with Houston Elite, Mr. Sims is the head basketball coach at Mt. Carmel High School. Mr. Henry Sims  also has a vast knowledge and experience in body conditioning and total athletic training.

Rick Nelson

Rick Nelson is the President of Elite Action Sports. Rick is a counselor and Varsity Head Basketball Coach, has been coaching for 14 years, Head Coach 3 years, Houston Area Reebok Grassroots Representative, of President of Houston Elite Youth Program 5 years and personal trainer 10 years. Rick played basketball in school on highly competitive teams and college basketball at Texas College.  Rick has a specialty working/training with hard working student's of the game and has great success with some of the following players; Gerald Green, Jovan Adams, Damian James, Dale Vanwright, Gary Johnson, Ryan White, Albert Turley, Chris Gradnigo, Dwight Miller and many more who have gone on to have great college careers.
